Hidden down a Camperdown laneway and housed within the bones of an old winery, the Wayward Cellar Bar is just a few kilometres from Sydney CBD. The softly illuminated waxed and wine spattered walls of the wine vats give an underground speakeasy feel, contrasting the yellow floors and shiny tanks of the open brew room.
With ‘carpe bierum’ painted on the wall and a gloriously mounted motorcycle, the vintage travel theme of the Wayward brand shines through at every twist and turn. The bar is furnished with repurposed material, from 70’s style couches and vintage theatre seating to the beer keg lamps hanging from the ceiling. Each upcycled item comes with a story, much like the building itself.
Past clients include Tourism Northern Territory and Triumph Motorcycles.
