Originally brewed in 2017 to celebrate the birth of Wayward's first baby — the son of Head Brewer Shaun Blissett — Wayward Son Hazy IPA has become an all-star among the wayward limited releases. So much so, that we had to bring it back again this year.
This hazy IPA has intense hop flavour and aroma from the addition of concentrated Lupulin — designed to optimise the hop profile of the Citra and Amarillo in this brew. Wayward Son is then balanced by it’s dual malt base and, uses British Ale yeast to really bring out the haze. The result is a fruit-forward IPA with vibrant and juicy notes of apricot, pine, passion fruit and mango.
